Paris, September 5, 2024: La Française, a multi-specialist asset management group and subsidiary of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, is pleased to announce the appointment, effective August 19, of José María FUENTES SAEZ as Sales Manager Iberia, based in Madrid. José María joins the local Iberian team of La Française, reporting to Reyes GARCIA-REOL, Country Head.

José María has nine years of experience in the finance industry. He began his career in 2016 with ING as a sales representative in Capital Markets before moving to London to join UniCredit Bank AG as an analyst in the Leveraged Finance/Debt Capital Market team. In 2019, he transitioned to KDB Bank as a senior credit investment analyst. After four years in London, José María returned to Madrid with Bank Sabadell and was appointed Institutional Sales Director, responsible for the sale of Private Debt and Fixed Income products across Europe and the United States. Prior to joining La Française, José María was a Corporate Derivates Sales representative for Bank Sabadell, responsible for the distribution of Forex, Interest-rate and Commodity derivatives to Spanish and Portuguese medium and large-size companies.
José María holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from the University of San Pablo CEU and an Executive Master in Finance from ESADE. José María is an EFPA certificate holder.
