La Française has always been forward looking and determined to embrace the future.Asset managers will never be exempt from the profound transforma- tions related to digital technology that affect every aspect of our work: distribution methods, product design and asset management itself.
La Française has adopted an original business model, with four different yet complementary busi- nesses that make the whole greater than the sum of the parts. We aim to take full advantage of these synergies and treat future challenges as opportu- nities.
New ways of doing business, the digital transforma- tion and arti cial intelligence are opening up en- tirely new possibilities. In response, La Française has introduced innovative working methods that foster creativity. As part of this intrapreneurial approach, we have created a fully digital platform for the distri- bution of collective real estate investment vehicles.
We have also begun to explore new international markets in recent years, with considerable success: in 2016, 25% of our in ows came from abroad.
The third, but by no means the least of our chal- lenges, is the endeavour to be an asset manager that acts responsibly.These efforts include the con- tribution of La Française to the “Grand Paris” project, through the creation of new investment solutions and the backing of a charitable fund that sponsors art and culture, re ecting a holistic view of the life of the city.
This business model generated record in ows of €6 billion in 2016, bringing AuM to the €60 billion mark for the rst time. Based on this performance, we can certainly look to the future with con dence and optimism.
